Once qualified, you can expect to be employed flying your primary helicopter type, initially as a co-pilot and/or aircraft captain under supervision for the first 12 months. From this point on you will be trained and authorised to conduct more complex missions often as aircraft captain. The Black Hawk is crewed by 2 pilots and 2 aircrewman who operate the M134D and MAG58 weapon systems. It will be equipped with Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) sensor system, weather radar and advanced communication systems.
