About the role As part of the CSR Group, Hebel is a leading manufacturer of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) panels and blocks used across residential and commercial construction. Backed by a strong national footprint and a reputation for quality, we keep things moving-safely, efficiently, and with a team that knows how to get the job done. We''re looking for a reliable, hands-on Forklift Operator to join our Somersby site, supporting the safe movement of stock and smooth day-to-day despatch operations. This is a practical, fast-paced role where you''ll be on the ground making sure product gets where it needs to be-on time and without issue. You''ll work across a rotating shift pattern: Week 1: 4:00am - 12:00pm Week 2: 12:00pm - 8:00pm You''ll play a key role in keeping warehouse and despatch operations running safely and efficiently whilst working with a small and collaborative team. What you''ll be doing Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Unloading shipping containers and checking for damage Putting stock away accurately using SAP/WMS systems Picking and assembling customer orders Operating forklifts and other mobile equipment safely Supporting daily load planning and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance Completing scanning, load closing, and dispatch documentation Assisting with inventory tasks including cycle counts and stock adjustments Contributing to safety initiatives and risk reduction activities Communicating clearly with team members, drivers, and internal stakeholders Identifying and supporting continuous improvement opportunities What you''ll bring A current forklift licence (high reach experience is preferred, not essential) Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or despatch environments A strong safety mindset and understanding of WHSE practices A hands-on approach-you''re not afraid to get stuck in Good attention to detail, particularly with stock handling and systems Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines A team-first attitude with a practical, no-nonsense work ethic Willingness to learn and pick up new systems and processes What we offer We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
