Job description Laynhapuy Homelands Aboriginal Corporation (Laynha) is seeking a Senior Participant Support Coordinator (2IC) to assist with the delivery of the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES). This is a key role that ensures practical, culturally safe support to participants and employers, ensuring services are local, community-focused, and aligned with individual strengths and goals. About Us Laynha is a not-for-profit organisation that has supported 30 homeland communities in East Arnhem Land for over 40 years. We deliver a wide range of essential services, including healthcare, aged care, housing, community services, and land and sea management. About the RAES Program RAES is a federally funded initiative delivered by Laynha across Arnhem Land. The program uses a flexible, strengths-based approach to remote employment, guided by community priorities. RAES supports local job seekers to build skills, overcome barriers, and transition into meaningful and sustainable employment. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership role where youll: Support participants through intake, planning, and ongoing mentoring Help people build confidence, skills, and job readiness Assist with day-to-day team coordination and provide on-the-job guidance Step up as 2IC when the Manager is unavailable Build strong connections with employers, training providers, and the community Support program delivery, reporting, and compliance About you Youre both people-focused and outcomes-driven. You bring strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Essentials: Experience in employment services Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain) A current open Drivers Licence Strong organisational and administrative skills Confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders, including the community and employers Understanding of Indigenous cultural values and protocols Why Join Us?
