Educational Leader Kyneton Permanent PartTime | 37.5 hours per week (MondayFriday)$34.78 $40.00 per hour + Educational Leader Allowance + EWRP + Super Lead with purpose. Strengthen practice. Our Kyneton centre is seeking an Educational Leader who is confident in their practice, reflective in their leadership, and motivated to support educators to do their best work. You will work as part of the Centre Leadership Team, helping to bring shared vision to life and embedding Journey Standards across pedagogy, environments and relationships. This is a role for someone who values collaboration, communicates with intention, and understands that compliance is the foundation that keeps children safe and quality is what allows them to thrive. About the Role As Educational Leader, you will guide curriculum, pedagogy and professional practice across the service, keeping childrens learning, wellbeing and belonging at the centre of every decision. You will be supported with dedicated leadership time, clear expectations, and access to Journeys wider support ecosystem allowing you to focus on meaningful leadership rather than competing priorities. This role suits an experienced Educational Leader seeking strong alignment and support, or an educator ready to step into leadership with mentoring, structure and trust. What You Will Be Responsible For Leading pedagogy and curriculum in alignment with the EYLF, NQS and Journey Standards Supporting and mentoring educators through reflective practice, coaching and professional dialogue Strengthening intentional teaching, documentation and curriculum consistency across all rooms Partnering with the Centre Leadership Team to drive quality improvement and QIP priorities Building authentic, respectful relationships with children, families and educators Supporting assessment and rating readiness through embedded, everyday practice Ensuring compliance underpins all decisionmaking to keep children safe, secure and supported About You You are a reflective practitioner who leads through connection and consideration. You value communication, teamwork and continuous improvement, and you understand the impact strong leadership has on children and educators alike. You will bring: An ACECQAapproved Diploma or Bachelor qualification Strong knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy and quality practice Experience leading practice, or readiness to step into an Educational Leader role A collaborative leadership style that builds confidence and capability in others Clear, respectful communication and a commitment to team consistency Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain) About Our Kyneton Centre Our Kyneton centre is a welcoming, communityconnected environment where children, families and educators feel a genuine sense of belonging.
