Job Description

Baaz Indian Restaurant features mesmerising the heritage of India and its Authentic North Indian Cuisine. The menu features a vast selection of North Indian specialities. We are looking for a Cook with hand on experience in "North Indian Cuisine". The duties would include the following: Checking food supplies, raw materials to make sure of its quality. Receiving and verifying all the stock and store them at the appropriate place and temperature in respective storage area following FIFO and HACCP. Doing mise-en-place for the daily needs as required according to the menu. Cutting meat items as required. Preparing vegetables as required. Regulate temperature of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment. Divide food into portions and make sure that the food is well presented. Cooking Food including entre, main meals and side dishes. Prepare various kinds of curry sauces both mild and hot. Make sure kitchen is hygienic and functional at all times. Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements. Preparing various Chutneys Preparing dough for different types of breads. Handling of Tandoor Section and working on the Tandoor. Preparing and Cooking catering orders. The Applicants must have a minimum of 3 Years of Full Time Experience in Authentic Indian Cuisine and Qualifications. Required Qualification: Equivalent to Cert III and IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality. A Skills Assessment is required if applying as an Overseas Candidate.
