About the Position We have an exciting position available for a Technical Services Officer who will play a key part in our onsite operations and use their technical expertise to provide support to assist with ongoing business operations and organisational goals. This is a permanent fulltime position based at our site at Edrom Road, Eden working Monday to Friday. Please note, due to the nature of this role, work may be required outside of normal working hours and travel may be required on occasion. Responsibilities Sourcing, installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing equipment. Assist with electromechanical fault finding on our production equipment. Design and implement infrastructure solutions to optimise system performance, and work on system upgrades, future technology adoption and integration projects. Manage and update databases including, but not limited to, Clarion database and SCADA for manufacturing processes. Monitor and report on inventory and stock management solutions. Manage weighbridge maintenance and make operational decisions regarding shutdowns. Oversee fuel and weighbridge certifications. Provide onsite IT support alongside the broader ICT Team, applying problemsolving skills to address issues promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in IT and technical support, with a focus on troubleshooting, hardware, software and networks. A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of Windowsbased environments (Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Defender highly preferred). Proven ability to install, maintain and repair fibre including cabling, data and security systems. Background knowledge of Unify equipment, firewalls, connectivity checks, Clarion Databases, HALO is advantageous. Background working in a manufacturing environment in an IT role is highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively address enquiries and provide accurate information.
