Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital providing tertiary referral services across emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatrics, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus aims to support communities within and outside Sydneys western suburbs, providing worldclass clinical facilities and care. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive multidisciplinary outpatient setting that delivers highquality, womancentred care to women, babies and families across the Nepean community. As a Registered Midwife in Women and Childrens Outpatients, you will provide evidencebased Midwifery care across Antenatal, Postnatal and Gynaecological and Outpatient services, support continuity of care and promote positive health outcomes for women and families, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and allied health professionals, contribute to patient education, health promotion and service improvement initiatives, and maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with NSW Health policies and standards. We are looking for a Registered Midwife who is committed to delivering safe, compassionate and womancentred care, is a strong communicator with the ability to work independently and within a team, and can be flexible, organised and manage a varied outpatient caseload.
