Division: Independent Public School - South Metropolitan Education Region Salary: Level 3, $86,439 - $92,795 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024) This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency. We are looking for a welcoming, professional, and highly organised Facilities Resource Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you should coordinate the daytoday operation, maintenance, and safety of the schools facilities, grounds, and amenities, including specialist areas such as the school pool and tennis courts. Working in close partnership with the Manager Corporate Services, you should help ensure our learning environments are safe, functional, and well maintained, meeting operational, regulatory, and community expectations. The position includes direct supervision of the Gardener/Handyperson team, providing clear guidance and supporting the effective delivery of grounds services and minor maintenance works. Ideally, the successful applicant should bring experience coordinating both planned and reactive maintenance, supporting asset management and lifecycle planning, liaising with contractors and trades, and maintaining accurate records, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation. The role also involves assisting with budget monitoring, processing invoices, and supporting facilitiesrelated funding submissions. A strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety compliance and building standards is highly regarded, along with the ability to respond efficiently to facilitiesrelated enquiries and deliver highquality customer service. This role suits someone who works confidently with a high level of autonomy and takes pride in maintaining welcoming, wellkept environments. Previous experience in project management would be highly regarded. Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and Qualifications Demonstrated sound ability to provide effective support and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of school buildings, grounds and facilities and the ability to investigate funding opportunities. Demonstrated sound team management and supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate and develop staff. Demonstrated sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals at all levels. Demonstrated sound computer skills in a range of application software packages, including spreadsheets and word processing.
