Broome Based 3/1 or 2/1 swings $90 to $110 per hour About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Civil Trainer to deliver structured training programs within a correctional environment. This role focuses on equipping incarcerated individuals with practical civil, vocational, and life skills to support rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society. Key Responsibilities Deliver training in areas such as civil construction basics, workplace safety, and community skills Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit diverse learning needs and literacy levels Promote positive behavior, discipline, and engagement in a secure environment Assess participant progress and maintain accurate training records Work collaboratively with correctional staff and support services Ensure all activities comply with safety and security procedures Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner Understanding of workplace health and safety standards National Police Check and ability to obtain prison security clearance Desirable Qualifications Experience working in correctional facilities or with at-risk populations Knowledge of rehabilitation and reintegration programs First Aid certification Cultural awareness and sensitivity training What We Offer Meaningful work contributing to rehabilitation and community safety Supportive and structured work environment Ongoing professional development opportunities Competitive salary and benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
