This is a great opportunity to step into a brand-new ICU service and play a key role in shaping critical care delivery in a growing regional centre. Work within a majorly redeveloped health campus (approx. $190M investment) Join at the launch phase of a new 8-bed ICU and HDU (mid-2026 opening) Be instrumental in designing models of care, governance, and service delivery Collaborate closely with ED, inpatient teams, and regional retrieval pathways Strong focus on leadership, mentorship, and service development About the Hospital Geraldton Regional Hospital is a key regional referral centre within WAs Midwest: Approximately 100+ bed regional hospital (expanding with redevelopment) Functions as a regional hub (Tier 2 capability) supporting surrounding communities Services include Emergency, General Medicine, Surgery, Mental Health, and now expanding Critical Care New infrastructure includes ICU, ED upgrades, and inpatient facilities Strong integration with regional and tertiary referral networks The ICU will support a broad case mix, offering genuine clinical variety not often seen in metro units. Salary & Benefits Total package: approx. $412,000 $523,000+ p.a.
