OverviewTEACHER SPECIALIST: SCIENCE Upper Primary Science Teacher (Years 36). Santa Clara School is seeking a passionate and innovative educator who inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. The successful applicant will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Science programs that integrate technology and design thinking, fostering critical and creative thinkers within a faith-filled learning community.Key ResponsibilitiesDifferentiate learning to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students.Use assessment data to inform teaching and monitor student progress and achievement.Ensure safe and responsible use of equipment, materials, and digital technologies.Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular opportunities and whole-school initiatives.Contribute to the Catholic ethos and faith life of the school community.Selection CriteriaDemonstrated expertise in teaching Primary Science (Years 36), with the ability to design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.Proven capacity to integrate technology and design thinking into classroom practice, enhancing student engagement and supporting innovative STEM learning.Ability to create dynamic and inclusive learning environments that foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and active student participation.Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.Commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education, contributing to the faith life and community of the school.QualificationsRelevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to obtain).Current Working with Children Check.ComplianceAll employees of Catholic Education Western Australia are required to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
