Job Description

Responsibilities Leading and managing the shift to ensure the production and safety of operations. Ensuring all WHS management system requirements are met and safety standards maintained. Managing residential and light commercial construction projects endtoend. Conducting product testing regularly, including installation, component, and mechanical testing of mobile crushing equipment. Maintaining optimum liaison with customers in each allocated territory. Managing and coordinating HSE programs on the project site. Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on mobile crushing equipment; supporting shutdowns, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance activities. Planning and managing project scheduling and programming using MS Project. Reading and working from plans and shop drawings. Interpreting parts requirements for forklifts and materials handling equipment. Processing customer enquiries, quotes and orders. Acting as the goto injury management expert in partnership with onsite teams. Leading power system studies and modelling using PSCAD, PSS/E, and other simulation tools. Defining generator performance standards, reactive plant requirements, and control system parameters. Working closely with site teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery. Delivering high quality, technically robust sustainability advisory services across projects. Supporting clients with grid connection activities from feasibility through to generator commissioning. Preparing and managing connection enquiries and applications (R0 and R1). Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage. Leading the establishment of overall success criteria and project execution plans. Supporting WHS management plans and HSE objectives for the asset. Coordinating the movement of bulk and general freight across site. Monitoring freight demand and usage to support operational planning. Assist operating advanced rigs including Sandvik DPi, DI650i, and Epiroc D65. Maintain clean and safe drill patterns. Supervise daytoday site activities relating to the MEP installation package. Oversee installation of ground source heat pump systems and associated components. Lead the delivery of renewable energy projects, managing programme, budget, and quality. Develop and manage study execution plans, schedules, budgets, and interfaces. Manage daily site operations and mechanical subcontractors. Coordinate HVAC, pipework, plant, and services installation. Perform routine and reactive plumbing maintenance on commercial sites, diagnosing and repairing leaks, blockages, and hot water issues. Support the development and improvement of environmental controls, processes, and procedures. Prepare clear documentation for internal reporting and regulatory submissions. Assist the asphalt paving crew with setup, operation, and demolition of marking and traffic control sign arrangements. Ensure the safe and efficient placement of asphalt material on the job site. Lead endtoend delivery of mining studies, ensuring integration across all disciplines. Lead and manage subcontractor procurement and management. Proactively look out for your own safety and that of the crew. Identify, report, and assist in the control of safety incidents and accidents. Lead and manage health & safety practices across largescale construction projects. Qualifications & Experience 35 years of experience in a similar position. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10 years of experience delivering complex IT projects in a projectmanagement environment. Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering or similar.Strong working knowledge of WA environmental legislation. Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry. Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Concreting (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Wall & Ceiling Lining (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Electrical (UEE) (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Plumbing (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Carpentry (Apprenticeship). Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations (RII) (Apprenticeship). Experience with HSE and WHS systems. Strong capability in assessing change impacts, managing readiness and resistance. Experience delivering organisational or business change from diagnosis through to implementation. Experience with grid connection activities, feasibility studies, and generator commissioning. Experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs of mobile crushing equipment. Experience with pipework, HVAC, and MEP installation. Benefits & Pay Competitive pay rates: $35$40/hr with potential overtime; up to $85/hr for highskill roles. Pay rates up to $69p/h on a day shiftonly roster. Competitive rates up to $75$85 per hour for fulltime positions. Flowthrough and FIFO options for Brisbane or Maroochydore. Daily schedules and highrisk environment experience on varied projects.
