You will play a key role in supporting our donors through their donation process. Full training is provided, so, along with the above, all you need is curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product. Responsibilities Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate Create a donor experience theyll love and want to come back Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests Set up machines and collections equipment Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets Monitor donors postdonation and assist them with rebooking their next donation Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets This role involves frequent travelling on the Donor Mobile Unit usually within 50km from current location. No previous blood collection experience is required. Our paid training programme blends handson practice with online learning to set you up for success.
