The Magistrates'' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. About the Role An opportunity is available for a skilled and compassionate Administration Coordinator to support the daytoday operations of the Ballarat Drug Court, based at the Therapeutic Recovery Centre. Reporting to the Drug Court Operations Manager, this role provides highquality administrative and reception support in a therapeutic and clientfocused environment. You will be a key point of contact for participants and stakeholders, supporting program delivery while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality. You will: Coordinate reception services and provide professional, respectful responses to inperson and telephone enquiries Support Drug Court and TRC programs through data entry, recordkeeping and administrative coordination Monitor and manage participant attendance and testing information in a sensitive and confidential environment Provide secretariat support, including meeting coordination and minutetaking Analyse data and prepare reports to support operational decisionmaking Contribute to service improvement initiatives and maintain accurate resources and records Build strong working relationships with judiciary, court staff, program teams and stakeholders Support staff and contractor inductions and site orientations About You You are an organised and adaptable administrator with: Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage respectfully with diverse participants Welldeveloped communication, planning and organisational skills Confidence using administrative systems and Microsoft Outlook A commitment to service excellence, integrity and continuous improvement The ability to work effectively in a complex and sensitive environment Relevant experience in administration or business support is highly desirable This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a specialist court program focused on recovery, rehabilitation and improved outcomes for participants and the community.
