Teacher of Childrens Education Higher Education Campus Locations: Randwick, St Leonards, and Ultimo Temporary and Permanent Opportunities $111,798 $132,585 salary package includes base salary ($98,499 $116,813), plus employer''s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading About the role Were seeking worldclass academics who are ready to shape the future of Childrens Education by inspiring the next generation of higher education students. We currently have multiple exciting opportunities available across Sydney: 3 x Permanent Fulltime opportunities located at Ultimo Campus 2 x Temporary Fulltime opportunities located at Randwick Campus until July 2027 1 x Temporary Fulltime opportunity located at St Leonards Campus until July 2027 As an Academic in Childrens Education, youll play a pivotal role in creating meaningful learning experiences that support student success both inside and outside the classroom. Youll deliver engaging, contemporary educational programs and adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs. Your role will include: Delivering highquality teaching with flexibility, creativity and inclusive practice Undertaking assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes Maintaining and enhancing your professional and industry expertise Contributing to decisions that shape a positive, supportive learning environment Liaising with local industry, other educational providers, and the community to ensure programmes remain current and workforceready Travelling within the Eastern City area to conduct workplacebased student assessments About You Hold appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (AQF Level 7) AND a post graduate qualification (AQF Level 8 or above) in a related field Have a minimum of three (3) years postqualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously Be prepared to continue to develop scholarly practice and skills as well as your currency in Early Childhood Education Our commitment to Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion We are committed to creating a culturally safe and accessible workplace where dignity, trust, respect, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion are valued, so you can safely bring your whole self to work and connect with your community through our many diverse employee networks.
