Chef Vacancy Lancefield Brewery Company Name : Lancefield Brewery Pty Ltd Job title : Chef Employment status : Full Time Salary : 77,000 p.a. plus superannuation Location : Lancefield, VIC 3435 Lancefield Brewery s looking for a Chef to join our team at Lancefield, Victoria. The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, ordering, inventory, training and leading and development of the culinary staff. Main Duties Planning menus, estimating food and kitchen labor costs and ordering food supplies Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discussing food preparation issues with director, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures to other kitchen staff when necessary Preparing and cooking food according to menu Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations Provide necessary assistance for selecting and train kitchen staff Freeze and preserve food when necessary To be successful in this role you will have to : Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work as a team member Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure Demonstrated ability to be able to multi task Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV Commercial Cookery Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Chef Apply Now: If you meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply and detail your suitability for the position.
