Responsibilities Menu & Cost Management: Developing menus, balancing food and labor budgets, and managing all supplier orders. Quality Control: Overseeing every dish through prep and service to ensure it meets the highest standards. Cross-Team Coordination: Working directly with management and staff to ensure seamless service and dietary compliance. Technical Instruction: Demonstrating professional cooking techniques and refining prep methods with the team. Hands-on Cooking: Actively preparing and cooking meals during daily service. Kitchen Safety: Directing all food safety protocols and maintaining strict hygiene standards on the floor. Staff Development: Handling the hiring, onboarding, and practical training of junior kitchen staff. Stock Preservation: Managing food storage, freezing, and preservation to maximize shelf life and minimize waste.
