The role follows a 4 on 4 off shift pattern paying $55 per hour with all overtime paid at double time rates. For you Rosehill location (next to Parramatta) Free onsite parking 4 on 4 off shift pattern Shift times: 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am $55 per hour + superannuation Overtime paid at double time rates Temporary to permanent after 3 months for proven performers No daily shift confirmation needed from the agency Discounts on products, annual bonuses and career progression opportunities available once you become a permanent employee The Role: 4 on 4 off Forklift / Machine Operator The operators primary purpose is to manufacture product in accordance with specifications in a safe and timely manner. Every shift starts with a 15 minute start up meeting to set out daily activities. Your main duties will involve: Monitoring the flow of products into machines, and adjusting valves and controls to specifications Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines Setting up and installing moulds and other machine fixtures Collecting and examining samples for conformity to specifications and adjusting machine settings accordingly Setting grinding and cutting edges Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with safety procedures as applicable Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications Manual Handling tasks Loading timber sheets onto Beam Saw cutting machinery Manually stacking oversized sheets of timber and products onto pallets Loading oversized pallets up to 6 metres long onto pallets Counterbalance forklift operation to move palletised stock to the dispatch area Counting of stock Checking stock for defects Quality assurance checks Wrapping and strapping pallets Pallet jack duties Matching paperwork to orders Shift Available 2 days working 6am to 6pm, then 2 days working 6pm to 6am 7 day working roster $55 per hour flat rate for 12 hour shifts All overtime paid at double time rates 5th and 6th days of your 8 day cycle are paid at double time for all hours worked The Candidates Industrial manufacturing machine operating experience Conveyor belt line machine operating experience Experience operating LED screen machinery Wrapping and strapping of products and oversized pallets Setting up and maintaining manufacturing machinery QA and quality checks / lab testing experience is highly advantageous Previously worked in a night shift / rotating shift pattern position Previously worked in roles where manual handling up to 20kg products was involved Previous experience with timber or cement products is highly advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
