About the Team The UTS Global Mobility Programs team sits within the Global Engagement portfolio at UTS International and oversees all mobility and exchange programme operations. UTS Global Mobility Programs maintains well over 250 exchanges, study abroad and thirdparty partnerships. UTS welcomes and enrols up to 1400 students annually from over 40 countries on inbound global mobility experiences. Up to 2000 UTS students participate in outbound global mobility experiences annually in over 60 countries. About the Role The Support Officer, Global Mobility Programs is responsible for providing high level administrative support for UTS Global Mobility Programs that enables the effective operation of a wide range of UTS exchange and short programmes which occur at UTS and around the globe annually. The Support Officer undertakes activities that include the support of programme development, contribution to the annual calendar of promotions; student engagement and advisory activities; administration and advice on programme application, offers and enrolments; supporting engagement with internal and external stakeholders to enable efficient administration and also enabling compliant administration of UTS and government travel grants and loans programmes. The Support Officer, Global Mobility Programs, will be assigned to the Inbound team, but may support projects in both inbound or outbound programming, and reports to: Manager, Global Mobility Programs (Inbound) Key Responsibilities Supporting delivery of a diverse range of study options across UTS Autumn, Spring and other sessions, working with faculties and internal teams. Ensuring timely processing of applications, assessments, offers, and visa documentation for applicants and partners. Assisting in planning and delivering global awareness campaigns, including scheduling information sessions and using channels such as web, social media, newsletters, billboards, and learning platforms to drive awareness and conversion. Supporting UTS Orientation, student events and activities (oncampus and virtual) to enhance student experience, wellbeing, safety, and awareness of key information. Supporting the development and strengthening of relationships with internal UTS teams, faculties, exchange partners, agents and thirdparty providers to enable Global Mobility Programs. Assisting with effective use of systems including Canvas, email, social media, and databases (Moveon4, CASS, PRISMS) to support programme delivery and best practice operations. Providing student advising and application support through rostered service centre shifts (or virtual channels), events, and shared inboxes. Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience providing highquality administrative support in an international education, student administration, or similar environment, including managing applications, documentation, deadlines and accurate recordkeeping in line with policies and procedures. Strong studentcentred service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with inbound students from diverse cultural backgrounds, and to provide timely advice and support throughout application, offer, enrolment and arrival stages. Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, such as academic or professional staff, partner institutions or agents, to support the smooth delivery of inbound programmes and positive student experiences. Welldeveloped digital and systems capability, including confidence using student databases, CRM or application systems and online platforms (e.g. PRISMS, student systems, email and web tools), with attention to accuracy, compliance and process improvement. An understanding of or strong interest in global mobility or international education, including awareness of compliance requirements, risk considerations and the importance of pastoral care and student wellbeing for international cohorts. Remuneration and Benefits Base Salary Range: $83,906 $95,989 pa (HEW 5). This role attracts an additional 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
