Your role at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital We are seeking a Scanning Clerk to support our administrative work by accurately and efficiently scanning health record documents and maintaining the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS). This is a fixed term, parttime role (contract until April2027) with flexible working hours, offering20 hours per fortnight. The Position Accurate and timely scanning of health record documents in the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS). Prepare health records for scanning. Upload electronic documents into the SHRS. Perform quality activities on scanned documents. Correct identified anomalies in the SHRS. Retrieve medical records for requests. Retrieve medical records for clinic lists for the following working days. Track and file medical records back to home locations, i.e., HIS main and secondary storage locations. Collect and sort mail for the department; assist with ordering and unpacking of stationary and medical record form supplies required and received by the department. Cull and destroy medical records. Assist with audits undertaken by the department. Attend to photocopying/printing for information requests, including medicolegal. You will have sound written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask to achieve desired outcomes, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. To succeed, you will have sound computer literacy, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data, and the flexibility to work a range of shifts, including additional shifts as required. The Benefits Salary: $60,173 to $61,903 per annum (pro rata basis for parttime), plus 12% superannuation. Permanent parttime role, up to20 hours per fortnight.
