About Your New Role Wellways is excited to offer the position of Home Care Worker. This role will suit someone who enjoys interacting and supporting our participants with their daily activities. You will work on the front line of our Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants activities of daily living. This role requires you to work closely with a person to ensure their individual needs are met and to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of care provided. Responsibilities Support a participant with a brain injury requiring 24/7 care Provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management Work various shifts, including daytime, evening and active nights Work closely with the person to ensure individual needs are met and contribute to continuous improvement of care Qualifications Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience Current drivers licence Satisfactory National Police Records Check Current Working with Children Check Right to work in Australia NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Workers Orientation Module Certificate About Us Wellways connects people, strengthens families, and transforms communities for individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing.
