Company Overview Macmahon Maintenance Masters is Macmahons internal field service division. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on the Byerwens mobile fleet and other heavy equipment. Role Overview Local ongoing position in Hazelmere with free onsite parking. The role is 50 hours per week with an option to work Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on Byerwens mobile fleet and mining equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Mack, MAN). Carry out breakdown diagnostics and faultfinding to minimise production delays. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently. Provide technical support and service a fleet of D11 dozers, 830E, and various small CAT machine components. Lead, coach and mentor the maintenance crew; follow directives; assist crews to meet daily safety, equipment reliability and productivity targets. Handson maintenance and rebuilds of CAT 793 dump trucks and other heavy diesel/mobile plant equipment. Strip, inspect, rebuild, and test components to OEM standards. Qualifications Automotive or Engineering Trade Certificate. Experience working on Caterpillar or similar mining equipment. Rebuild experience on transmissions or large plant components. Australian Recognised Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant Trade Qualification. Strong diagnostic and faultfinding skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
