You will manage a nationally aligned portfolio of RD&A investments, ensuring feedlot productivity activities integrate with key crosssector programs including genetics, sustainability, feedbase resources, animal wellbeing, biosecurity, grassfed productivity and eating quality. Through strong collaboration with industry partners, researchers and RD&A committees, you will provide industry leadership and deliver outcomes aligned with MLAs strategic plans and Annual Investment Plan. Our ideal Program Manager - Feedlot has: Extensive experience in R&D program management and/or research involving the Beef Feedlot industry or associated food animal industries. Extensive experience and demonstrated achievement in delivering outcomes that improve the productivity and profitability of industry Strong knowledge and understanding of key drivers of profitability and sustainability of the Feedlot industry in Australia, and knowledge of the priorities and issues affecting these industries. Veterinary or postgraduate degree in Animal Production Science and extensive research experience in a relevant discipline.
