We are looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Manager Housekeeping / Assistant Housekeeping Manager to run our housekeeping team who make the difference in the day to day operations of the department. About the Role Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Park Hyatt Sydneys luxury standards for cleanliness, quality, and service. Lead, motivate, and develop the housekeeping team, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture aligned with Hyatts values. Maintain exceptional guest experiences by handling requests, resolving concerns efficiently, and ensuring all VIP and special request rooms are prepared to the highest standard. Manage administrative and operational functions including rostering, inventory control, lost & found, reporting, and compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures. Assist in financial and operational performance by controlling costs, managing supplies and labour, and driving productivity while maintaining service excellence. Qualifications Well developed Computer Skills particularly MS Office, email and Hotel Property Management system (preferably OPERA Cloud) Detailed knowledge of use of cleaning agents and chemicals Good trainer, Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements University Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills Minimum 2 years similar work experience at luxury hotel or similar environment.
