Medical Receptionist needed for friendly GP Surgery Work Type: Permanent Full Time Location: NSW Start Date: [TBD] Resident required Supportive, friendly and family feel GP Surgery Fulltime: 37.75 hours negotiable We are seeking a friendly yet professional Medical Receptionist for a busy, supportive, family feel GP Surgery near Queanbeyan and 20 minutes drive from Canberra. The successful candidate will be joining a team of 7 General Practitioners, 5 Practice Nurses, a large Administration team and a visiting Allied Health and Medical Specialists. Your duties will include: Greeting patients and visiting medical professionals both in person and on the phone Arrange appointments for all patients ensuring they are booked as per guidelines and appointment types Arrive patients via appointment booking system and verify all details are correct Deal with and triage emergency patients Answer all telephone calls within 3 rings Ensure incoming deliveries are received and processed-li> Issue receipts and invoices Attend to account queries and follow up monies owing In cases of emergency call emergency services if requested and monitor for arrival Routine housekeeping including wiping down surfaces, furniture & equipment, ensuring the waiting room is clean and tidy Other administrative functions as directed Hours: Monday to Wednesday: 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Thursday: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday: 10:00 am to 6:30 pm Essential skills and experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a receptionist/administration assistant is essential Medical Reception experience and Best Practice Software will be highly regarded Excellent telephone manner Must be able to multitask and maintain composure during any emergency situations Must be wellgroomed, personable, competent and efficient Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident - international applicants not considered Rate of pay: Up to $28.20 per hour dependent upon experience plus super For further information or to register your interest please do not hesitate to contact the friendly team at Ozhealth on or INTERESTED?
