Case Worker - Pathways to Safety and Support Full Time contract role until 31/12/26 based on Wanaruah Land in Muswellbrook $41.49ph - $48.47ph + Super + Salary Packaging Flexible, friendly organisation, WFH & 9 day fortnight options About the role Our Pathways to Safety and Support Pilot program provides effective intervention and support to children, young people and their families, with problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB) by linking them with targeted and coordinated supports. Duties Provide tailored support and advocacy to children, young people and families affected by problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB), using a strengthsbased, personcentred approach. Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop, implement, and review safety and support plans that address both strengths and areas of risk. Coordinate wraparound support by working closely with government departments, schools, health services, and community agencies to raise awareness and deliver integrated services. Facilitate education and awareness through the planning and delivery of group sessions, workshops, and information sessions for clients and sector professionals. Build strong, culturally safe relationships with clients and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, as well as Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients and communities to ensure inclusive and respectful practice. Identify and respond to risks, including escalating concerns and making child protection reports where necessary. Skills and Experience As a Case Manager within our Pathways Team, you will have: Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Strong understanding of problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB) in children and young people, including associated risks and vulnerabilities.Demonstrated experience supporting children, young people, and families, particularly in child protection or similar settings.Proven ability to deliver groupbased education and awareness sessions to clients and sector professionals.Excellent communication, assessment, and case planning skills, with a strengthsbased and traumainformed approach.Cultural competence and experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and other diverse groups.Current drivers licence and willingness to travel.
