We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our aged care team, delivering high-quality clinical care and support to our residents. In this role, you will oversee care plans, administer medications, monitor health conditions, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing, comfort, and dignity of every resident. About you We are looking for an empathetic and dedicated professional who demonstrates the following qualities: A genuine passion and commitment to delivering exceptional aged care. The ability to build trust and effectively lead, coach, mentor, and support both unregulated care workers and care and lifestyle staff. In this role, you will champion safe, high-quality, and resident-focused nursing care by: Conducting comprehensive clinical, social, and self-care assessments. Anticipating changes in residents health and initiating further assessments or appropriate referrals. Supporting residents and their families by addressing questions, feedback, or concerns with empathy and professionalism. Compliance Responsibilities Ensuring all care documentation is completed with the appropriate strategies implemented. Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting. Your Role Within the Team Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers; providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team. Qualifications and Requirements A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care. A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems. Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance. About the Facility Aegis Greenfields is an ageing in place facility with High Care, Low Care and Extra Services accommodation available and has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 106 residents across five wings. Accommodation comprises single and double rooms, all with large ensuite bathrooms. The different areas or wings all have lounge and dining areas and access to walk paths which surround the gardens within the facility. Aegis Provides Paid orientation program.
