About the Role As Head Nurse, youll play a key leadership role in the clinic, shaping nursing standards, mentoring the team, and maintaining clinical excellence. In this full-time role, you will: Lead, coach, and mentor our Veterinary Nursing team Build and nurture a positive, cohesive, and motivated team culture Manage daily workflow to support a high-performing clinical environment Undertake handson nursing duties, including: Pre- and post-operative care Anaesthesia and surgical support Animal pathology Emergency and critical care Work closely with veterinarians to ensure goldstandard patient care Identify opportunities to improve clinic efficiency and processes Handle client enquiries professionally in person, via email, and over the phone About You Youre an experienced veterinary nurse who leads by example and brings confidence, compassion, and consistency to your team. Youll ideally have: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 3+ years clinical nursing experience Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading nursing teams A calm, supportive leadership style Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organisation and attention to detail Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset Familiarity with RxWorks (desirable, not essential) Why Join Greencross?
