Permanent/continuing, full-time appointment Base Salary $94,998 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata) We are seeking a Research & Engagement Librarian to deliver high-quality research support services across the University. In this role, you will work closely with researchers, students, and staff, providing guidance across the research lifecycle, from discovery and publishing through to research impact and profile development. You will build strong relationships and contribute to a connected and supportive research environment. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with researchers and key stakeholders across the University. Deliver expert research support services to staff and students at all stages of the research lifecycle. Support library-wide services, initiatives and strategic projects. Monitor trends and developments in research, scholarly communication, higher education and research sectors. Contribute to continuous improvement through evidence-based practice and innovation. About You You are a collaborative and relationship-focused Library professional with experience supporting researchers across the research lifecycle. You bring sound judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. You support researchers to find, evaluate, and use scholarly information effectively, and are comfortable working with library resources, research tools, and platforms. You contribute to areas such as scholarly communication, open access, and research visibility, helping researchers engage with the broader research environment. Essential Requirements A relevant degree and/or equivalent professional experience, with eligibility for ALIA associate membership highly regarded. Experience delivering Library research support, including advanced research skills, scholarly publishing, research impact and researcher profile management. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Strong analytical, research and reporting capabilities. Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based approaches to drive improvements.
