A stable Australian owned International Freight Forwarder with offices nationally is seeking a seasoned Import Seafreight Operations Specialist to join Yatala, QLD team. Opportunity to progress to Operations Manager / General Manager!ABOUT THE ROLE: Handle FCL / RORO / Open Top import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing. Manage customer accounts and build client relationships Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services. Explore additional customer needs/ opportunities and maintain SOPs at all times. Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date. ABOUT YOU: 3+ years Import local Freight Forwarder experience 2+ years experience with Cargowise1 Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and computer skills Adaptable Excellent Customer Service skills Relationship building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
