Who Are We: A privately owned family business with a solid reputation in the scrap metal industry. Our primary function is the collection and processing of scrap metal. What are we looking for: We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR or HC Truck Driver who is safety focused, self-motivated, flexible, able to prioritise and focused on delivering great customer service. You will have at least one-year previous truck driving experience. You must have a positive attitude, well-mannered and be well presented. The successful applicant must be available to work some weekends as required. What will my responsibilities be: Safe operation of Hook, Skip, Marrell, Dog Trailer and Flatbed trucks. (Training will be provided) Liaising with the Supervisor to ensure that all clients are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in tracking the movement and pickup of scrap metal bins. Liaising with clients at sites. Assisting Supervisor with ensuring the correct data for each client is recorded. What do I need: Must have to rights to work in Australia Previous HR or HC Truck Driving Experience. Current HR or HC licence required at the time of application. Positive & upbeat demeanor. Fit & Healthy Great communication skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong attention to details. Hiab Crane experience is an advantage. Be willing to be trained in other machinery & areas within the Scrap Yard
