About the opportunityWe are looking for an organised and detaildriven Approvals Coordinator to manage the endtoend lodgement and tracking of building approvals for our clients. This role plays a critical part in enabling projects to move into construction efficiently by ensuring all permits are prepared, submitted, and approved on time. More specifically, your responsibilities will include: Prepare and lodge development approvals/ applications to councils Coordinate submissions to councils, private certifiers and authorities Liaise with councils, consultants, engineers and stakeholders to obtain required approvals Track lodged applications, follow up on progress Work with Coordinators, Drafting and other internal teams to capture any changes to plans Maintain accurate records, notes and milestones in the CRM system Regular reporting, overseeing payments related to the approvals process and adhoc admin About youTo be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of the NEX Group along with: Previous experience in approvals, permits, planning or construction administration Understanding of council approvals, certifiers and development processes highly desirable High attention to detail with excellent organisational and timemanagement skills Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with multiple stakeholders Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable learning and working with various systems Proactive, solutionfocused and able to follow up independently We are committed to building a more inclusive workplace by improving representation of women and other marginalised groups.
