We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and child-safefocused Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistant Centre Manager to lead our dynamic service at Wellard Village Primary School at Wellard. About the Role This role is ideal for an experienced educator ready to step into a leadership support role, working closely with the Centre Manager to ensure high-quality care, smooth operations and meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community. You''ll work across split shifts Monday to Friday: 6.30am- 8.30am2.50pm - 6.00pm Total hours per week: 38(including admin time) Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Staff Support Support the Centre Manager in leading and mentoring a team of educators. Take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Centre Manager. Assist with team meetings, shift planning and daily staff co-ordination. Promote a positive and collaborative team culture. Compliance & Safety Assist in ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Law & Regulations, and Big Childcare policies. Maintain accurate records such as attendance, incident reports and medication logs. Help uphold high standards of health, hygiene and safety at all times. Program Delivery & Child Engagement Support the planning and delivery of a play-based, child-led program aligned with the "My Time, Our Place"framework. Actively engage with children to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. Help ensure activities are developmentally appropriate and meet the interests of the children. Family & Community Engagement Build positive, respectful relationships with families. Act as a key point of contact in the absence of the Centre Manager. Collaborate with the school community to support seamless service integration. About You Youre a confident and capable Educator with a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their wellbeing and safety. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring energy, professionalism and care to everything you do. Essential Requirements A Certificate III (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, School Age Education and Care, or equivalent (as approved byACECQA). Minimum12 years'' experiencein an OSHC or early childhood setting. Sound knowledge of theNQF,NQSand relevant National Law & Regulations. CurrentFirst Aid,CPR,AsthmaandAnaphylaxiscertificates. A validWorking with Children Check (WWC)or equivalent. Previous OSHC Assistant Centre Manager experience is preferred but not essential for this role.
