Social Worker Level 2 IOBI Drug & Alcohol Coffs Harbour Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (until 3 August 2026) Position Classification: Social Worker Level 2 Remuneration: $47.97 - $54.94 per hour Hours per Week: 8 Requisition ID: REQ658926 Advertising closes: 19 May 2026 Work Authority: Candidates must hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa) What you''ll be doing: Using innovative, evidencebased skills and interventions, you will professionally support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use. You will take a traumainformed approach and provide respectful, personcentred care, tailored to each clients needs. Central to your role will be an individualised, holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive care planning to address the physical, emotional and social aspects of each persons journey. You will work with the IOBI multidisciplinary team to deliver brief interventions, inreach and outreach services, and provide a social work/counselling/psychologist service that addresses the psychosocial aspects of care for patients receiving substance use treatment, including support, education and resources as required.
