About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to build your experience as a Service Support Technician reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor at our Western Australia Iron Ore Sites in the Pilbara on an 8/7:7/7 rotating days and night shift FIFO roster from Perth. These sites include South Flank, Yandi, Jimblebar and Newman. You will carry out the highest level of servicing repairs and general maintenance support to a modern fleet of autonomous trucks, graders and dozers. This includes routine fuel and lubrication top-ups on our Surface Mobile Equipment (SME), lubrication on our fixed plant equipment and machines in our maintenance workshops. You will be required to operate Light Vehicle (LV) class and SME class service truck vehicles. Key Responsibilities Oil change out and sampling Checking and filling lubricant & hydraulic tanks Filter change out and lubrication system maintenance Breather maintenance and replacement Lubrication system top-up and maintenance and oil analysis Ensure accurate completion of technical documentation, reports as required Use of computerized maintenance systems (SAP / FIORI) including time confirmations, raising notifications and closing work orders Identify, report and rectify hazards Complete quality task-based risk assessments Identify opportunities for continuous improvement Qualifications Technically minded & interested in working in a handson role Mining or heavy industrial/manufacturing experience highly regarded Experience with completing lubrication inspections, changing oil and taking oil samples, greasing and lubricating equipment advantageous Basic Lubrication Course highly desirable CAT SOS experience preferred Forklift Licence/EWP an advantage but can be provided HR licence desirable Basic Microsoft Office suite Valid full C class drivers licence and all relevant licenses applicable to skillset Location The role will be based at our Western Australia Iron Ore sites in the Pilbara on an 8/6 7/7 rotating days and night shift fly infly out roster from Perth. Sites include South Flank, Yandi, Jimblebar and Newman.
