Location: Mundaring Work Type: Permanent - Part Time Mundaring Christian College is a thriving nondenominational, coeducational K12 school, situated in the picturesque Perth Hills across two campuses with a Primary Campus in Mundaring and a Secondary Campus in Parkerville. We are seeking a passionate and thorough Accounts Officer to join our administration team in a parttime (0.6FTE), ongoing position commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is more than just an accounting role; it is a meaningful opportunity to faithfully steward the Colleges resources with integrity and care. Through your diligence, you will help sustain the daily life and longterm mission of the Collegestrengthening a community where students can learn, grow, and flourish. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accounting records, including receipting, banking, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger data. Manage accounts receivable functions such as parent billing, invoicing, payment plans, and fee collection. Produce monthly accounts receivable reports in collaboration with the SCEA office to support decisionmaking. Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts, and analyse financial data to provide insights to the Business Manager. Contribute to the Administrative Team by delivering consistent service and providing frontline support when required. Assist with general administrative duties and support broader team operations as needed. Essential Selection Criteria Demonstrate a committed Christian faith, actively supporting and contributing to the Christian life of the College. Align with the Associations Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives. High level of customer service with strong personal presentation and professional telephone manner. Strong organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow directions and show initiative. Exceptional multitasking and time management skills, working efficiently and effectively. Accounts Officer experience or qualifications, with solid financial process knowledge and strong Microsoft Office365 skills (and willingness to learn new systems). Current Working with Children Check, and Department of Education Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain). Desirable Selection Criteria Current Apply First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain. Experience working in a school and with school data systems.
