Based in Karratha, fixed term for 12 months Work with contractors, consultants and stakeholders across regions Highly Competitive Salary Package + Real Benefits About The Role The Project Leader Regional Projects role is responsible for leading and delivering complex capital (Category D) and large noncapital projects across regional areas, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The role involves endtoend project and contract management, coordination of consultants and contractors, works inspections, and strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders. A strong focus is placed on safety leadership, compliance, and ethical conduct, along with sound technical, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. The position operates with financial responsibility for projects of approximately $3 million and requires significant experience in engineering project management, ideally within the water or infrastructure sector. What You Can Expect With This Role Leading and delivering complex capital and large noncapital projects across regional areas, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards Managing projects endtoend, including scoping, design, delivery, reporting, and closeout in line with corporate project management frameworks Overseeing contractors, consultants, and project teams, including tendering, contract negotiation, and contract administration Providing strong safety leadership by embedding health and safety principles into all project activities and site works Opportunity to travel the northern region of the state delivering Regional Projects Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and community representatives Monitoring project performance, financials, and compliance requirements while contributing technical expertise and sharing knowledge within the team Your Skills And Experience Tertiary level qualification in engineering, project management or relevant discipline and considerable experience delivering complex capital and noncapital projects, ideally within engineering, infrastructure, or the water industry Strong project and contract management capability, including tendering, contractor oversight, and financial control Proactive commitment to health, safety, and compliance, leading by example in all work activities Confident communication and ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Wellorganised, analytical, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes Alignment with organisational values and contribution to a collaborative, highperformance team culture Sound like a match?
