This role is ideal for someone who is solutionsfocused, innovative, and passionate about driving initiatives and continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects and play a key role in shaping our Knowledge Management Strategy across the firm.As a Knowledge Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our knowledge resources to help stakeholders deliver highquality, uptodate work efficiently. The position offers a unique chance to develop strong relationships across the firm, collaborate with dedicated knowledge partners, and contribute your ideas to drive meaningful improvements. Youll enjoy the autonomy to manage your workload without being bound to billable hours, allowing for a balanced and rewarding career.Location: SydneyContract Type: PermanentKey ResponsibilitiesOverseeing updates to precedents and managing the interface with the legal and precedents teamDrafting minor updates for precedents and managing the consistency committee projectAdministering standard form contracts, including Australian Standards ContractsMaintaining and enhancing our knowledge repository, including expert databases and presentation archivesCollaborating with lawyers and consultants to streamline processes for capturing key knowledge artefacts throughout engagementsPromoting awareness, assessing, and capturing significant precedents and knowledge documents from client mattersCoordinating graduate training programs, managing speakers and content, and supporting ongoing internal and external continuing education initiativesMonitoring legislative and industry developments, and preparing case law and industry updatesExecuting the national knowledge strategy and contributing to firmwide knowledge and learning initiativesQualificationsA legal qualification with at least 5 years experience, ideally within construction lawA proactive, solutionsdriven approach and a passion for innovationExcellent relationshipbuilding, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilities, including preparing and delivering presentationsOutstanding analytical, organisational, and project management skillsExperience or familiarity with legal technology platforms such as iManage, SharePoint, and thirdparty research toolsAttention to detail, resilience, and a commitment to exceptional client serviceA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and at all organisational levelsIf you are a selfmotivated problem solver eager to make a real difference and enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.We encourage applications from people of all ages, abilities, cultural backgrounds, genders (including trans or gender diverse), LGBTQ+ people and those with carer responsibilities.
