About the opportunity As our Retail Postage Sorter, youll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As youd expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to. Pay rate $28.58 per hour increases to $30.55 per hour after approx. 3 months, + 12% Superannuation. 8 weeks on the job paid training, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, various shifts. Permanent part-time position, working 16 hours per week: 4 hours on Monday and 3 hours from Tuesday to Friday. Youll be Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace. Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes. Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance. About you Youre friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. Youre motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. Call upon your memory and handeye coordination while sorting. Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
