Job Description Reporting to the Production Manager, the Warehouse/Laboratory Officer plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of raw materials, premix, and additives within the plant. This position supports site quality, laboratory, warehouse, and stock control processes to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations aligned with Ridley''s high standards. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Comply with all WHS/OHS legislation, policies, and procedures Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses, ensuring timely resolution Follow all safety protocols including Lock Out procedures Maintain a safe working environment and demonstrate care for people, product, and property Quality & Continuous Improvement Support FeedSafe, HACCP, and site quality systems and accreditations Participate in site audits, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain environmental compliance and documentation standards Contribute to Right First Time and performance improvement targets Technical & Operational Duties Manage receival, storage, and usage of raw materials, premix, and additives Maintain accurate quality records, laboratory data, and reporting systems Conduct in-process testing and manage retention samples in line with SOPs Prepare and dispatch samples to external laboratories Raise and manage non-conformances through FeedTrack Support stocktakes, inventory control, and stock rotation processes Operate weighbridge and assist with logistics coordination where required Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations Maintain housekeeping standards in laboratory and storage areas Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages Handle and store dangerous goods in accordance with regulations Assist with risk assessments for new products Skills and Experience Understanding of HACCP and feed safety programs Strong administrative and record-keeping skills High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work collaboratively across production, logistics, and quality teams Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or similar environments (desirable) Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (desirable) Strong communication skills and ability to provide guidance to others Qualifications Desirable: Certificate IV in Competitive Systems or similar Forklift Licence (LF) Benefits Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for career growth and professional development Supportive and inclusive team environment Equal Opportunity Employer Ridley prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
