Reporting to either the Wheatstone or Gorgon Integrity Team lead, the roles will be based in Perth with occasional site travel.The Inspection & Integrity Engineer is responsible for developing Fixed Equipment Asset Strategies to ensure integrity management and inspection programs are executed with excellence for Chevrons operating assets.**about you**We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity, and innovation of our people. We are looking for Inspection & Integrity Engineer who is hands on, safety focused, and collaborative.**Key responsibilities include:*** Develop, improve and execute the Fixed Equipment Asset Strategy living program as set out by the Facilities Integrity & Reliability Management (FIRM) corporate requirement* Develop, facilitate and participate in RBI review workshops to ensure integrity of equipment and necessary remedial actions are recorded and appropriately executed within a suitable timeframe* Develop detailed RBI assessment and inspection scopes based on regulatory and Corporate requirements, as per the output of the RBI review workshops* Ensure all degradation barriers are identified, in place and functioning* Review and approve anomalies, perform fitness-for-service assessment, raise corrective work orders and assign appropriate resolution timeframes commensurate with risk* Identification of integrity threats & deficiencies and prioritising of remedial action with Operations when required* Support deviation risk assessments as per the ABU Deviation Management Process* Provide technical support and recommendations to inspection execution teams, mechanical, materials & corrosion, frontline, process and Designs engineering* Provide direction to technical assistants in the efficient development of inspection workpacks and results assessment* Support the planning & scheduling team in the development of efficient execution of inspection work. Specific emphasis will be placed on TAR scope.* Develop and execute specialist inspection programs, for example CUI, dead leg and injection / mixing points* Plan and execute improvement projects to the inspection program using new inspection technology* Collaborate with the Chevron Engineering & Innovation Center (ENGINE) in Bengaluru, India to develop and progress any of these tasks in the most effective way* Visit site locations as required to support development and execution activities* Develop and support corporate technology development and adoption initiatives* Participate in Competitive Performance initiatives**To be considered for this role, applicants should have:*** Degree in Materials, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or relevant subject* Minimum 8 years relevant work-related experience including working under an RBI program for pressure equipment in the in-service phase of the assets life cycle* Chartered Engineer preferred* Knowledge and practical application of API510 & API 570 (certification not essential) and / or AICIP certification (current certification not essential)* Demonstrated knowledge of degradation mechanisms applicable to LNG facilities* Knowledge and application of Non-Destructive Testing technologies* Strong knowledge of CMMS, IDMS systems and 3D models, digital twins and related software.* Self-motivated, organized and high level of attention to detail* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to influence without authority* Track record of delivering results with the right behaviours* Ability to travel to site and perform work during planned maintenance and turnaround activities**what we can offer you**Everything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to .
