About The Role As Pathology Courier, you will be responsible for the pickingup and transportation of Pathology Samples, Specimens, Blood/Blood Products, Xrays and Vaccines, across Medical Centres, Collection Centres, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and Veterinarian Surgeries for delivery to Laboratories in various locations. You will be ensuring a safe and efficient process as you manage 30+ stops per day, playing a crucial part in providing quality health services to the people in our communities. Responsibilities Pickup and delivery of Pathology Samples, Specimens, Blood/Blood Products, Xrays, Vaccines and clinical waste to and from referring customers Liaison between Referring Medical Practitioners and the Medical Liaison Officer with regards to store orders Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laboratory Maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity Following operating procedure to complete correct specimen coding documentation Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Work Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance processes About You Valid open Australian drivers license with an excellent driving record Ability to work various shifts including rostered weekends and public holidays Great interpersonal skills and strong written communication skills Excellent time management skills, juggling up to 30 stops per day Physical capability to handle equipment weighing regularly up to 10kg - 15kg Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions Previous courier experience is considered highly advantageous Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work Benefits and Wellbeing Benefits platform Reduce the impact of the cost of living with everyday savings with 500+ of Australias mostloved brands (from the weekly grocery shop to premium perks like holidays).
