Couple and Family Counsellor - Mental Health Seeking a Couple and Family Counsellor to join our Caringbah mental health service and deliver personcentred, relationshipbased support. This role is ideal for a qualified clinician who values relationshipcentred, personfocused care and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting individuals, couples and families experiencing mental health challenges. The Hub operates as a no wrong door entry point for adults and their families to access information and services, designed to empower, support and improve psychological and physical health, and social and emotional wellbeing. Within this model, the role contributes to accessible, coordinated and relationshipfocused care across the mental health system. Youll work in a personcentred, multidisciplinary environment that brings together clinical, peer, cultural and community expertise to provide coordinated, relationshipfocused care. The role operates within a shared practice framework that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and learning, with daytoday service delivery supported by Grand Pacific Health in partnership with RANSW and Odyssey House. For more information about us, read our 2024-2025 Impact Report, about-us/annual-reports/ What youll do Deliver highquality therapy to individuals, couples and families (inperson, online and phone) Work as a Care/Wellbeing Navigator, partnering with clients to develop and maintain shared mental health and recovery plans Provide intake, psychosocial and risk assessments, including safety planning Deliver care coordination, casemanagement and group work Apply family systems and other therapeutic frameworks in line with practice guidelines Participate in shared intake coverage and collaborate closely with clinical, peer, cultural and community practitioners Maintain highquality clinical documentation and engage in supervision and professional development The details 24month maximum term contract Part time position, working 4 days a week Starting in midJune 2026 Location: Caringbah Approx $48 $54 per hour (depending on skills and experience) + 12% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading, salary packaging to reduce your taxable income, and other benefits What youll bring Postgraduate qualification in Relationship Counselling or Couple & Family Counselling Eligibility for PACFA, ACA (Level 3 or 4), AASW, or Psychologist registration Minimum 100 hours of clinically supervised counselling experience Experience working with couples and families within a strong family systems framework Understanding of mental health, family violence, child protection and addiction A warm, culturally safe, traumainformed approach Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting Why work with us?
