1:1 Teaching Assistant South Liverpool 450-475 per week depending on experience About the role Connex Education are working with a SEND School in South Liverpool to recruit a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Portuguese. This role will consist of supporting a pupil with complex needs who speaks Portuguese, providing translation support, and offering emotional and academic support. About the School This fantastic School is at the heart of the community and caters for pupils 11-19 years with complex needs. They have high expectations and provide personalised pathways to help pupils succeed. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will help the pupil overcome barriers to learning and social interaction, and promote independence. Assignment details This is a full-time role that commences as soon as possible. Working Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. There is a chance of a direct contract for the right candidate. Ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Portuguese and passionate about supporting pupils with Special Needs. Willing to work as part of a team and collaborate with families to implement behaviour management strategies. Able to provide a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one.
