Alumni represent one of The Gordons largest and fastest-growing cohorts, with many new graduates joining each year across diverse industries and backgrounds. This role places you at the forefront of building a connected, supportive alumni community with lasting impact. We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Alumni Engagement Coordinator to design and lead a brand-new alumni program for the Institute. With strong foundations already in place, this role offers rare scope to influence direction, shape strategy and pioneer alumni engagement approaches within the TAFE sector. About the Role This role leads the strategic development of alumni engagement at The Gordon, creating sustainable frameworks, meaningful connections and clear pathways between alumni, students, industry and the Institute. With a developing alumni plan and established database, you will shape how alumni engagement evolves and embed best practice across the organisation. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening industry engagement, supporting employability pathways and bringing alumni together through a vibrant, and inclusive community delivering impact mutual benefit. You will: Design, implement and evolve a scalable alumni engagement framework aligned to strategic priorities Build a new alumni program from the ground up, focused on connection, advocacy and long-term value Lead alumni initiatives supporting industry engagement, pathways and student success Oversee alumni data governance, insights and reporting to support informed decision-making Lead the Scholarships portfolio, including team oversight, outcomes and sustainability If this opportunity excites you, explore the Position Description to learn more! You will bring: Experience leading engagement programs, portfolios or initiatives within complex organisations Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving capability Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change Budget management and performance reporting experience Exceptional written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills Experience in alumni engagement, advancement or philanthropy is welcomed, though transferable experience from stakeholder engagement, communications, marketing or events is equally valued.
