At Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR), we are the Territorys expert on capital infrastructure and property, working with our partners to deliver safe, accessible and welcoming places for the ACT community. Within Infrastructure Canberra, Delivery Places and Spaces is responsible for whole-of-life asset management, property management and the delivery of property programs and services across the ACT Government portfolio. This includes the management of community facilities and venues that support social connection, civic participation and community wellbeing. The Customer and Asset Management Branch Community and Government Engagement Team delivers professional property and venue management services to government, community and commercial clients. The team manages a range of community facilities and venues across Canberra, including the Gungahlin Community Centre and other ACT Governmentowned and managed venues. The Concierge Office Manager and Administrative Support Officer (ASO6) is a key role supporting the day-to-day operation of the Gungahlin Community Centre and contributing to venue operations across the broader Venues team. The position provides leadership and oversight of front-of-house services, venue bookings, client liaison and administrative coordination, ensuring venues operate smoothly and customers receive a high-quality experience. Reporting under limited direction, the role manages booking enquiries and venue hire arrangements, oversees reception and administrative functions, supervises staff, and coordinates operational activities such as room set-ups, cleaning, security and waste management. The position also supports broader business operations through financial administration, promotion of venues, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, venue users, contractors and community groups to deliver responsive, professional and customer-focused services across a diverse portfolio of community facilities. Note:This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of nine months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
