As our Senior Category & Insights Manager supporting the APAC region, youll lead category strategy and deliver high-impact consumer and shopper insights that unlock growth for our business and retail partners. Youll translate market, consumer, shopper and customer data into end-to-end growth strategies that shape portfolio direction, customer partnerships and commercial executionworking closely with Sales and Marketing to influence decisions and deliver best-in-class outcomes. Key Responsibilities Own and lead multi-year category strategies across Pet Care and Food & Beverage, aligned to brand, portfolio and channel priorities. Deliver category reviews, range and space recommendations that are insight-led, commercial and executable. Build compelling category narratives grounded in shopper behaviour, market trends and customer needs. Analyse syndicated and customer data (e.g., IRI/Nielsen/Circana and retailer data) to identify growth opportunities and performance drivers. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards and measurement frameworks to track category performance. Partner with Sales to develop insight-led customer presentations and sell-in stories; lead category conversations through range reviews and JBP cycles. Provide category input into pricing, pack architecture and promotional strategy; evaluate NPD performance and recommend optimisation actions. Manage insights and category tools, agencies and data suppliers (including contracts and data purchases) and continuously improve data quality and access. Champion category thinking and data-led decision-making across the organisation; lead and develop direct reports. About you Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business or similar. 7+ years experience in a category development/category management role within FMCG and/or retail. Strong capability in turning complex data into clear, commercial recommendations (range, pricing, promotion, innovation). Hands-on experience with syndicated data sources and tools (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, Circana) and retailer portals. Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders and customers. Excellent communication and presentation skillsable to synthesise complex information into compelling stories. Leadership experience with a track record of developing people and building collaborative, high-performing relationships. Self-motivated, curious, comfortable with ambiguity and accountable for outcomes.
