Engraving Technician & Workshop Store person We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable person to join our team. The Engraving Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser engraving machines, and for creating precise, high-quality engravings based on customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with laser engraving technology and be familiar with various types of materials such as metal and plastic. You will need to work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the finished product meets quality standards. Drivers Licence, manual (essential) Current High Risk Work Licence Forklift (LF) Ability to operate tools and equipment safely Experience in warehouse/stores and/or workshop environment Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, invoices and parts lists Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Engraving Operating laser & rotary engraving machines to etch designs onto materials such as metal, and plastic. Interpreting blueprints, sketches, or design specifications to determine engraving patterns. Programming the computer software to conduct the engraving process. Maintaining and performing routine checks on laser & rotary engraving machines to ensure optimal performance. Handling the proper alignment and placement of materials for engraving. Ensuring all safety procedures are followed during the operation of the laser engraving machines. Conducting quality control checks to ensure the final product meets the design specifications. Performing minor repairs on the engraving machine if required. Keeping records of materials, production reports, and work completed. Laser and rotary engraving. On-site Installations. Stores & Inventory Receive and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices. Pick, pack, and dispatch orders in accordance with job requirements. Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts. Complete deliveries and pickups as required. Assist with urgent or overflow deliveries. Workshop Support Operate hand and power tools as trained. Assist with assembly and dismantling of components. Move materials, tools, and equipment within the workshop. Action pick lists and job requirements as directed. Perform equipment inspections (e.g., forklifts, electrical equipment where applicable). Perform general workshop and yard housekeeping duties. Undertake ad hoc duties as directed by supervisors or management.
