Job Description Steel Blast Australia is seeking an Experienced Painter to join our team full time in a full time position. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years work experience with Painting Structural Steel and Tank Refurbishments. Hold a valid C class license and be a Trade Qualified Painter. This job involves working in a heavy industry environment and you will be asked to work in wide variety of spaces, including in confined spaces and high up on scaffolding. Tasks will include: Spray Painting, protective coatings to the required specification Surface preparation, including colours and colour mixing Conversant in the handling, mixing and application of various coating systems Working in a team or unsupervised when required Erecting and removing scaffolding Ensuring proper use and maintenance of company machinery and reports any error, misuse or damage to the equipment Cleaning equipment and work areas Observe Companys OHS Procedures & Policy Ability to pass a per-employment drug & alcohol screen We offer a great working environment and competitive salary starting from $76,515 PA and regularly offer overtime.
