Most tilers lay tiles. This role is for someone who wants to build something bigger. Were creating an in-house finishing division at High Craft Construction and were looking for the right person to lead it. We are bringing tiling in-house to: Take full control of finish quality Improve project flow and timelines Build a dedicated finishing division within the business You wont just be installing tiles youll be: Setting the standard Shaping systems and processes Working across the full bathroom build lifecycle Positioning yourself to lead a small team (apprentice + future hires) If youve ever wanted to step beyond being just on the tools this is that opportunity. The Role Youll take ownership of all tiling across our projects, including: High-end bathroom tiling (primary focus) Large format installations Feature work, mitres, niches, detailed finishes Kitchens, laundries, and custom areas But more importantly, youll be involved in: Set-out planning with builders and supervisors Understanding the full renovation process (not just your trade) Contributing to sequencing and build efficiency Lifting the standard across all wet area finishes What Were Looking For 5+ years tiling experience Proven high-end residential work Strong attention to detail (this is non-negotiable) Ability to think ahead and plan, not just react Pride in your work and ownership of outcomes Bonus if you: Want to step into leadership Are interested in mentoring an apprentice Care about building something long-term If youre happy just turning up and laying tiles this isnt your role.
